The Borexino experiment - designed for world-class research in neutrino physics (especially, their oscillatory behavior), with particular emphasis on solar neutrinos and antineutrinos coming from Earth’s interior (geo-neutrinos) - began its data-taking phase in May 2007.

2017 is therefore the 10th anniversary of Borexino’s continuous data-taking: from September 4th to the 7th, physicists and astrophysicists will gather at LNGS and GSSI to discuss new perspectives on the many neutrino topics under active research.

The meeting is organized as a workshop, in order to allow wide discussions about all the diverse aspects of neutrino physics, the various neutrino sources and the approaches employed to probe them, as well as the models and approximations describing their behavior.

The workshop will be held at LNGS in Assergi, starting from Monday September 4, 2017. On September 6 workshop will take place in the Auditorium del Parco in L'Aquila and will be managed by GSSI. Information on LNGS and GSSI can be found in the "Venue" section.

Two guided tours of underground lab are foreseen at the end of plenary session on September 5 and 7 respectively. Those who want to take part must sign up by selecting one of the two guided tours in the registration form. Please note that each group is limited to 50 people.

In order to attend the conference it is mandatory to submit registration form. Registration will be open starting from February 7, 2017. Due to organizational reasons maximum number of participants is limited to 190.

PhD students and young researchers are invited to submit an abstract for the posters. Abstracts may only be submitted online by using the form available in the "Call for Poster Abstracts" section. Please note that Indico requires an Indico account to submit an abstract. Abstracts can be submitted starting from March 1, 2017 up to June 15, 2017. Notification of approval will be sent via email by June 30, 2017. After poster session, a committee will give a ranking of the posters and the first 3 on the ranking will receive a certificate from the workshop organizers and a small present.

Workshop fee is 220 euro if paid by July 31, 2017 via bank transfer and 250 euro if paid later than July 31 or cash on site. Young physicists with approved poster can apply for reduced fee (190 euro, for poster presenter only) if paid by July 31, otherwise fee will be 250 euro also for them. Please check relevant information on "Workshop fee and payment" section.

The scientific program is online as well as timetable (both of them almost final). Please check back the site for all updates.

Shuttle bus information are available on "Travel and accommodation" section, as well as list of affiliated hotels with contracted rates.

Please note that all inquiries regarding visas should be sent to the organizing committee by July 7th at the latest. More detailed information can be found on "Visas" section.
